I killed 2 insects but was never able to get the fly. The cold water tap made an irritating squeal when turned off unless you played with it and adjusted the setting. I did not see the notice that they did not replace linens unless you request it but was cheap and I spent very little time in it

This last stay was my 3rd stay at this Motel in the last 2 years. I will most likley stay at this Motel in the future about once a year when I have a meeting in Chambersburg.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I guess its true what they say…you get what you paid for. We were traveling from AR to MA and this was our stop over. We had a lot of bags to bring in and no one offered to help. Then when we finally get up to the room is smelled horrible and the AC did not work. My husband went to the front desk and informed him of the situation and the man was rude and acted put out that he had to switch us over to another room. The 2nd room smelled so bad but we were so tired after driving 17+ hours that we dealt with it. Then we decided to go use the pool. It was an outdoor pool. We couldn’t even get in it because it was so freezing and I mean freezing. It was like laying in snow. The bagels tasted stale and when we were leaving the man at the desk didn’t even stop to hold the door open for us. The overall experience was horrible and we would never stay there again.

The motel was old & very run down, in need of a face lift. Continental breakfast was nowhere as good as Carlisle, Pa.

We spent 3 nights there and discovered bed bugs and cockroaches.

Facility is in need of major renovation. Desk Clerk was courteous to have non-working air conditioner changed out after first night of not cooling but did not offer compensation for the inconvenience except to remain in the “larger” (up graded) room. Door lock did not work – reported to desk, maintenance was to take care of the issue but it was never repaired during my stay. First come to breakfast as items are not replenished if supply runs out – ex. batter for waffles. Room resident cockroach met his demise on second night present. inconvenient to not have a luggage rack – used coffee table/couch. Bathrooms are clean. Convenient location. Corporation could provide the need of decent lodging at moderate price and earn good reviews with major renovations to rooms, update hallways and Provide complimentary internet access.

The people were very nice and accomodating. The pool was smaller than the picture led you to believe. The kitchen’s microwave was available at night for popcorn bags or quesadilas, but make sure you have microbags. The kitchen was not cleaned efficiently; you could tell because the counter tops were dirty and the juice dispenser was filthy. The room was clean as well as the hallways and pool. The stairwell smelled like a port-a-poty that had been sanitized and the main floor stairwell had a mattress set up-ended for the entire stay. The location was close enough to Gettysburg and we did have a good look at the local fireworks for 4 July from the parking lot.

It was the closest place we could get without a second on our home. Nice people. Clean. About 40 mins. from Gettsburg. Book early for holidays!

We arrived late but our rooms were ready, clean and the staff was friendly. Room clean, breakfast was very good. Beyond what I would have expected for a complimentary breakfast. When we forgot an item in our room the staff was quick to help. I’ll stay again.

Room was relatively clean, but aged. A/C did not work well….roasted all night in a humid/hot sticky room.
